There was never a studio recording of the 1955 TV cast. This must be the audio (bootleg?) from the kinescope of the 1955 TV production released on DVD by VAI. http://castalbums.org/recordings/Chocolate-Soldier-The-1955-TV-Cast/21742/

I don't know where Cantus Line has acquired their recording; it's probably been taken from the audio of the TV production.
