The The Golden Knight, 1962 Original Cast from Orange County, California

This is a very charming set of songs, from a musical that was likely a spoof of Lerner and Loewe's Camelot (which had debuted in 1960). The composer and lyricist Glenn Wescott was raised in the Bay Area and attended City College of San Francisco, where he was active in theater and musical productions. This was his first musical, written at age 30. He would go to write other musicals and scores and over 700 songs, while teaching elementary school in the Saddleback Union School District. I have just listed this LP for sale on e-Bay. The jacket is inscribed and signed by Wescott. Please check it out. Thanks.
